Earth Day Events at Reinhold Residential Communities

This Thursday, April 22 marks the 51st anniversary of Earth Day! And much like last year’s 50th anniversary, many Philadelphia Earth Day 2021 events are being canceled, scaled back, or held virtually. That being the case, Reinhold Residential wants to make this year’s Earth Day extra special for our residents. Much like our unique apartments in Philadelphia, Reinhold Residential is ready to help our residents celebrate this national day of support for environment protection with lots of fun exclusives that reflect this year’s Earth Day theme – “Restore Our Earth!”

Earth Day Cheers at Chocolate Works & Waterfront II

Chocolate Works and Waterfront I residents can toast “Cheers!” to Earth Day when they enter our Earth Day Raffle to win a collection of certified sustainable and organic wines from the Benzinger Family Winery! A family-owned winery in Sonoma, CA, Benzinger uses certified Biodynamic, organic and sustainable farming methods to tend the best vineyards in Sonoma County. The results: luxurious wines that are good for the environment. See manager for details on how you can participate in this raffle!

Earth Day Gifts at The Metropolitan & The Packard Motor Car Building

Residents of the Metropolitan and the Packard Motor Car Building can brighten up their homes with the gift of a potted treasure from the management office. Potted plants are not only great decorative elements for your home, they also offer many great health benefits, including stress and fatigue reduction, improved air quality, and increased productivity and focus. Plants will be distributed in the lobby beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Earth Day.

Fresh Herb Favorites at Shadyside Commons

Beginning at noon on Thursday, April 22, Shadyside Commons residents can make their way to the lobby to receive fresh herbs as an Earth Day gift! Selections include Basil, Cilantro, and Mint. These fresh herbs not only make your favorite dishes extra tasty, but they may also make them extra healthy due to their vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Harvest Your Garden at Sharples Works

This spring and summer, residents of Sharples Works can enjoy an on-site herb garden! Thanks to the planting skills of our management team, this herb garden will include favorites like rosemary, thyme, basil, mint, parsley, sage, oregano, and dill. Gardening is a great way to get outdoors, soak up some vital vitamin D, and get a bit of exercise while you select savory and flavorful herbs for your favorite dishes.
