New Restaurants to Try in Center City Philadelphia

Evil Genius Beer Company, 1727 N. Front Street

Evil Genius, the newest brewpub in Fishtown, recognizes itself as a beer “lab” that is constantly testing new flavor combinations. They pride themselves on offering “very serious beer with very silly names,” such as So This is What It Feels Like When Doves Cry and Purple Monkey Dishwasher. In keeping with the fun, industrial atmosphere, their kitchen keeps it simple with selections including Sloppy Joe Sliders, Hoagie Dipped Grilled Cheese, and Dessert Nachos. Poi Dog, 102 S. 21st Street
