One of the benefits of living in a Reinhold property is that our residents are dedicated to enhancing the experience of their neighbors. One such resident, Shrooti Singh – a Metropolitan resident – is introducing a MetroFit class on Bollywood Dance called “JhoomFit.” If you’ve ever seen a Bollywood production then you’ve witnessed Bollywood’s trademark ensemble dance numbers. Shrooti is as qualified a teacher as you’ll find. She is professionally trained in Indian Dance, and her talents have taken her to the stage at Lincoln Center in New York City. We’re truly excited to announce JhoomFit and expect it to be not only a great way to stay in shape, but a way to experience a new culture and meet your neighbors.
In addition to her accomplishments as a dancer, Shrooti holds a Masters in Math, once worked at Harvard as a medical researcher, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a professional advisory firm. She is a facilitator and coach with a company called She Creates Change, a global women’s empowerment organization. We’re truly lucky to have Shrooti in our community
Jhoomfit starts on Monday, January 12th from 7:45-8:45 pm. The class lasts for six weeks with one class a week. The cost per six week session is $50.
