In its 20th year, the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia honors Japanese culture and marks the time when the Japanese government donated 1,600 cherry trees to the city to honor the Sesquicentennial of American Independence in 1926. Today, revelers can enjoy a variety of programming including a traditional tea ceremony, dancing, and more, as well as just enjoying the blooms. Festivities take place at Shofuso Japanese House and Garden in Fairmount Park.
Philadelphia Science Festival, April 20-28
