Views of the Delaware River, a horde of fellow yogis, and sunshine — can you name anything more conducive to yoga? You’ll have ample opportunities to partake in yoga at Race Street Pier this summer, with classes every morning at 7am Monday through Friday, 6pm Monday through Thursday, and 9:30am on Saturday and Sunday. Bike to Work Day – May 15th
The benefits of biking to work are endless — save time, save money, get quality exercise, and relieve stress. Taking place between 8am and 10am on May 15th, Bike to Work Day 2015 encourages you to try biking in lieu of driving or using public transit. With four different stations set up offering snacks, coffee, and free stuff to bikers, we can’t think of a reason not to.
Philly VegFest – June 6th
No matter what your dietary habits or preferences, there will be something for you at Philly VegFest, featuring food vendors, cooking demos, speakers, live music, and a dog station which takes over Clark Park on June 6th. VegFest is “a celebration of the health, sustainability, and compassion encompassed by a vegetarian lifestyle.”
